USS Constitution Wood Cribbage Board
These cribbage board sets are expertly made by a local craftsman in Massachusetts using wood removed from USS Constitution, “Old Ironsides,” during regular restoration. It comes with pins shaped like the belaying pins used around Constitution’s spar deck to secure the running rigging. The cribbage board features a hole for storing the pins that is big enough to fit one of the Museum’s limited edition copper medallions (sold separately). The top of each cribbage board is engraved with an image of the Ship’s helm or wheel that is derived from the plans used to restore Constitution in the dry dock outside the Museum between 1927 and 1931, which was partially funded by school children’s pennies. These cribbage board sets are made exclusively for and sold only by the USS Constitution Museum.
